For the second year in a row, 24/7 Events was trusted by the High Commission of India in Cyprus to support the organisation and production of Namaste Cyprus, one of the island’s major celebrations of Indian culture, cuisine and friendship.
Following the success of the previous edition organised by 24/7 Events, we were delighted to once again be part of bringing this colourful cultural festival to life.
Held at the Marios Tokas Municipal Garden Theatre in Limassol, Namaste Cyprus 2026 brought together the Indian community, Cypriots and international visitors for an evening filled with Indian flavours, music, dance, culture and entertainment.
Creating a Festival Experience
Our involvement started long before the first visitors arrived.
24/7 Events was responsible for transforming the festival area into a functional and welcoming event space, including the setup of tents, furniture, sound equipment and the infrastructure required for the participating food vendors.
Food was an important part of the Namaste experience. Around 20 different food kiosks gave visitors the opportunity to discover a wide variety of Indian dishes, flavours and specialities.
Behind the scenes, this required careful planning of the festival layout, positioning of the food vendors, infrastructure and coordination to ensure the area worked smoothly for both participants and visitors.
Stage, LED Screen & Technical Production
At the heart of Namaste Cyprus was the cultural programme.
For the performances, we organised the complete stage production, including a large LED screen, professional sound system and audiovisual equipment.
The stage became the focal point of the evening, hosting Indian dance, music and cultural performances and creating a vibrant showcase of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Coordination with Limassol Municipality
An event of this scale in a public municipal location requires much more than equipment and entertainment.
An important part of our role was handling the coordination and arrangements with Limassol Municipality regarding the event location and its requirements.
From planning and logistics to technical production and the final setup, our team worked to bring the different elements and partners together into one coordinated event.

Namaste Cyprus is not simply a festival.
It is an opportunity for people to meet, experience another culture and celebrate the growing friendship between India and Cyprus.
